Chocolate & Wine Pairing
Perugina Milk Chocolate are not overly sweet and have wonderful cocoa notes. When pairing with white wines, choose selections that are sweeter, such as Moscato or Muscat, or the wine may taste sour. Eat a piece of chocolate with Moscato for a tingle on the tongue, followed by a mellow fruit taste. A Muscat is less acidic and brings out fruit and floral flavors with a cocoa finish. On the other hand, a strong wine, such as Tawny Port, highlights the chocolate's toasted nut notes and brings out a sweet caramel-chocolate flavor.
